Dr. Khalid Hashim

Dr Khalid Hashim is a professor at Liverpool John Moores University, UK, and a specialist in advanced water and wastewater treatment technologies. He holds a PhD in advanced water and wastewater treatment and maintains an active interdisciplinary research program focused on the theory and application of hybrid technologies in water and wastewater treatment. He has published more than 75 peer-reviewed scientific papers and three chapters in multidisciplinary research areas, including waste management, water and wastewater treatment, sensing technologies for monitoring water quality, and the design and modelling of electrochemical reactors. His research also extends to the study of pollution in construction materials, concrete additives, and soil additives. He is the founder of three international conference series and has served extensively as a guest editor, editorial board member, and reviewer for numerous international peer-reviewed journals. Dr Hashim leads an international research channel that has produced a large number of high-quality publications and has enabled him to establish extensive international collaborations in his research fields.

Prof. Anas Y. Al-Hayawi

Dr Anas Y. Al-Hayawi is a professor of population genetics and diversity at Tikrit University, Iraq. He was awarded his PhD in population genetics from Tikrit University and his diploma in 2022 from Rennes University, France. He maintains an active research group covering various aspects of population genetics. He has published over 30 papers on topics aligned with population genetics. He was a Member of the Asian Council of Science Editors in 2018. He was awarded the Academic Shield by LJMU, UK, and is a member of the Middle East Molecular Biology Sources (MEMBS) in Dubai, UAE. They have a training course in the Editorial Manager system at Elsevier and serve as the managing editor using the Digital Commons system at Elsevier. He is an editor of the OJS System at Iraqi Journals.
